About I Was A Unproblematic Human

Starring Constance Wu alongside an all-AAPI cast, I Was A Simple Homo is a ghost story set in the pastoral countryside of the north shore of O'ahu, Hawai'i. About the Filmmaker

CHRISTOPHER MAKOTO YOGI (Author, Managing director, Producer, Editor, SCA Alumnus)

Christopher Makoto Yogi is an artist and filmmaker from Honolulu, Hawai'i. His debut characteristic motion-picture show, the award-winning August at Akiko'due south, had its Earth Premiere at the International Moving motion-picture show Festival of Rotterdam in 2018 to critical acclaim. Richard Brody in The New Yorker named it i of the all-fourth dimension films of 2019. I Was a Unproblematic Man, his 2d characteristic movie, has participated in the Sundance Screenwriters and Directors Labs, IFP Movie Week, Picture Contained'south Fast Track, and received a Jerome Foundation and Cinereach grant. Chris' short films include the documentaries Occasionally, I Saw Glimpses of Hawai'i and Makoto: or, Honesty, and the fiction film Obake (Ghosts). Chris is a Berlinale Talents, Visual Communications' Armed with a Camera, Kyoto Filmmakers Lab, and New York Movie Festival Artists Academy boyfriend.

NEHA DHABALE (Moderator)

Neha Dhabale is an MFA Candidate in the Moving-pic bear witness and Television Production plan at USC. Prior to this, Neha has received a available'southward degree in It and MBA in Human being being Resources. She has a corporate experience, as a Software Programmer and Human Resource Professional.

At USC, Neha received the prestigious Annenberg Fellowship, and has been awarded the Fox Fellowship Endowment fund for her avant-garde Thesis Project.
